I grew up — and still live — in Leeds, a place where I never truly believed becoming a photographer was possible for me. It wasn’t something I allowed myself to seriously consider. However, throughout high school I was always drawn to creativity; it was where I felt most confident, most capable, and most myself.

I received my first camera at around 11 years old. From that moment on, I took it everywhere, capturing as many moments as I could while growing up. Photography quickly became more than just a hobby — it became a way of seeing and understanding the world around me.

During high school, I began exploring the idea of working within the creative arts industry. I started by completing commissioned drawings for people I knew, which gave me my first experience of creating work for others. Wanting to broaden my skills, I went on to study Business, Photography, and Makeup at college. It was there that I truly felt inspired to pursue photography more seriously.

I became particularly interested in capturing honest, emotional moments — images that could provoke feeling and connection in others. This naturally led me toward documentary-style photography, where storytelling and authenticity are at the heart of the work.

I then continued my journey at university, earning a degree in Photography. During this time, I developed a strong range of technical skills while also refining my artistic voice. I learned how to find emotion not only in people, but in landscapes, surroundings, and environments — deepening my connection to documentary storytelling.

Today, documentary photography is more than an interest; it is my passion. My ultimate goal is to become a full-time wedding photographer, capturing genuine, meaningful moments that couples can treasure for a lifetime.
